“Ryan, give me a list of all your tasks. Ako magnunumber
(priority order) para hindi ka mahilo.:”
Yes Mam ang sagot ko. Tapos tinype ko sa papel yung
listahan.
“Mam eto na po.” Tapos ayun, ninumberan nga. I was
silently laughing at the results.
“Si boss talaga!” Sabi ko sa sarili ko.
Kanina lang, the Lord revealed to me that in every heart
of a man is a place where only he can enter. It is usually a place where the
deepest of secrets, emotions, feelings are stored. In short, SUPER SUPER
private.
Sa heaven there is something similar. It is called the
Most Holy of Holies – the room where only God can enter. It might just be
similar to the Throne Room but the idea is, si Lord lang ang makakapasok dun.
Inspired by the Spirit, I believe, I named that special
place in my heart Most Special of Specials, the innermost chamber of my heart
where only I can enter. And somehow, parang sinasabi sakin ni Lord na He wants
to build His throne in my Most Special of Specials.
He told me that in the Most Special of Specials, I have
the complete authority. That in it, I can make Him King or dethrone Him
whenever I want to. I can make anyone else reign in it. Anyone I choose. Pwedeng
yung ina-aydol ko na artista, yung trabaho ko, yung dreams and ambitions ko.
Anyone or anything.
The Most Special of Specials is like the free will gift
given to each person. It is the God-like ability to choose on our own. It
basically is a place where I, alone, can decide. Parang central control room.
Every decision we make, words we say, thoughts we think is highly influenced by
whatever is in the Most Special of Specials.
Hinahabol ni Lord ang lugar na’yon because it is the place that will decide our eternal destiny. He cannot enter it without our permission. Every day, through His Word, He
encourages us to submit to Him our Most Special of Specials because alam niya
that when we do, His Kingdom will rule in our lives.
Let us admit that we suck at ruling ourselves. Death is
the only result of our reign. Eternal Life is what Jesus offers if we submit to
Him the keys of the Most Special of Specials.
I named it as so because it is also a place of SUPER
intimacy with the Lord. If I allow Him to enter it and abide in it, para ko
siyang naging asawa. And once I have given Him the keys of the Most Special of
Specials, He will grant Me entrance to His Most Special of Specials, His
heart’s innermost chambers where He will reveal to me secrets not yet told.
Kilala niyo si John the beloved? He is called the beloved
because he is the closest disciple to Jesus. He even laid on Jesus’ lap.
That is SUPER close. I believe that John the Beloved gave Jesus the keys to his
Most Special of Specials. Kaya naman it makes sense why to John was given the
revelations in the Book of Revelations and not to Peter.
David also gave God the keys to his Most Special of
Specials. So, to him was given the revelation about the coming Messiah. Some of
David’s psalms are prophetic. Makes sense, di ba? Only to someone who is very
close to you will you choose to reveal your secrets. So if
you say that you are close to God, then He will reveal to you His
secrets.
I want to reach than point. I want to experience the
magic of having Jesus rule my being instead of myself. In His word, meron
siyang sinabi na He keeps knocking on our door. He will dine (abide) with
anyone who allows him to enter. Door ng ano? I believe it is the door of the
Most Special of Specials.
May tanong ako…does Jesus have a special place in your
heart? Yes? That's great! But yeah, Jesus doesn’t want just a special place. He
wants to be in the Most Special of Specials.
Father God,
I ask from you help and guidance in making Jesus enter my
Most Special of Specials. It is not easy giving Him the keys. As long as I am
still here in the world, my flesh would still want it back. That’s why I come
to you for aid. Help me, through your Spirit, to fully submit the keys of my
Most Special of Specials to Jesus, your adorable son so that He can reign in my
life in justice, righteousness, holiness and deep intimacy. So that in my life,
I can make Jesus not just number
one…..but SUPER NUMBER ONE.
